Uzzo admitted that reporting is harder than she thought it would be, but generally had a great time at the raceway. The highlight was definitely interviewing Patrick, her favorite driver.

“I asked her about role models, and then she said that some people walk up to her and say, 'Oh, I want to be just like you when I grow up,' ” Uzzo recalled.

“And she's like, 'No, be better. I didn't have role models, because I always wanted to be better than them.' I thought that was like a cool way to live.”
