Summary: Technology Standards used for learning Garageband
ITSE 1: Creativity and Innovation (Make It) - Students will create a piece of music.
ITSE 2: Communication and Collaboration (Share It) - Students will share their music with other students and use it in other projects.
ITSE 4: Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making (Solve It) - Student will make decisions on how to create his/her own music.
ITSE 6: Technology Operations and Concepts (Use It) - Students will learn Garageband to create a 1-2 minute musical piece in mp3 format.- Introduction to Loops
- Adding Tracks Part I
- Adding Tracks Part II
- Trimming Loops
- Fading Music In or Out
- Finishing Your Song
Assignment:
- Create a new folder called Garageband
- Create a music piece that is 1-2 minutes long
- Fade music in and out
- Have multiple tracks that overlap
- Name your piece - add your name example: happydays mrasmussen
- Put in the workshop folder for you to share with us
